WTF is going on in the world?

Ya, the world is getting worse. I know a lady around 21, she had twin girls, and one day the father of her twins, came in pissed, and killed one of the twins. Saddest thing i've ever seen.

You need a license to drive a car, catch a fish, and shoot a deer.....but any moron can have a kid.  You can even have a kid if you have no means to take care of him/her.  I know of people having 3 or 4 kids by the time the graduate high school - they just keep having them because the government will give them money and they won't have to work...just 'take care of' kids.  They can't even take care of themselves yet!

It seems that some people just don't care anymore, and the kids are always the ones that get caught in the cross fire.  The story that got me last week was the one where I believe the guy was 19 and was watching his girlfriends 6 month old daughter, and he molested her.  They said she cried so hard until she almost stopped breathing. They say they do not know if the baby will ever be the same again. It's very sad that this happens to children. They are helpless and they depend on us to take care of them, not abuse them. I have three of my own and so it's a really touchy subject. Just don't want to ever imagine.

Some of the reasons for all the mayhem has been mentioned in your posts....some of the other factors are a higher level than stupid, ie ignorant.  Drugs are in the equation as many people's judgement is non existant.  Negatives that have always existed have multipled as the population has grown, people from cultures that are on more of a third world level are part of our country....life is not valued the same in these countries because of their overpopulation....as in quantity dilutes quality.  Unwed mothers are no longer unusual nor considered shameful.  In some cultures the man proves his maleness by fathering many children with many different women without any regard to the responsibility for the children or the women.

With the media's ability to inform us of happenings in such a quick manner we are bombarded with the insanity.  Of course the victims are and have always been the same....children, animals, women.  It is a fact that more women are murdered by their boyfriends & husbands - this occurs more when the women is attempting to leave the abusive partner and when the woman is pregnant.

We have so many unused brain cells that could be put to use.....we need to teach people to be civilized.....the greater the size of the population the more atrocities will happen.....put too many rats in a space and they fight.  So many bad examples are set by sports stars, those in the entertainment field, politicians, etc. - role models are scarce and families lack both parents.....kids join gangs for attention and belonging to a group. If what is wrong were listed it would be almost endless.

We need to change the revolving door for child molesters, rapists, etc....Basically the world has gone 5 steps forward and 26 steps back..  Not everything is bad but too much is not good!

I saw this post, and I just had to share this that just happened the other day.  There is a woman who placed her newborn infant in a 5 gallon bucket, placed a lid on the bucket, and put the bucket in a 55 gallon drum.  I don't know why someone would do that to an infant.  These people are the reason there should be capital punishment, imo.

I believe that the reason all of this is happening is because we are in the last of the last days. The bible tells us that these things will happen in the end times. Paul wrote, "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" As mankind turns away from God, the worlds gets worse and worse. We may not be able to fix it, but individually we can live for Jesus and we can invite others to do the same. Just one Jesus Freaks opinion...
